At Lighter Load, we make laundry easy for busy families and individuals in Fortuna and surrounding areas. Whether you need help catching up once, or want fresh laundry delivered every week, we have a service plan that fits you.

We understand that no two households are the same, so we’ve designed our services to be customizable for each member.

• Lighter Load offers Same-Day and Next-Day scheduling Monday through Thursday to accommodate busy schedules. Same-Day services are picked up between 9am and 10am on your chosen day and delivered between 5pm and 6pm on that same day. Our Next-Day services are picked up between 5pm and 6pm on your chosen service day and delivered the next day between 5pm and 6pm.

• Our Services can be scheduled as needed with our Single Service, or on a more consistent schedule with our Once a Month, Twice a Month, or Once a Week subscriptions options.

• We offer scented detergent options as well as hypoallergenic detergent options, but we take it one step further. Not only do we offer hypoallergenic detergent options, but we have machines designated for hypoallergenic use only to prevent cross contamination.

• Lighter Load provides a laundry bag in either a Full-Size (Holds about 6 loads worth), or Half-Size (Holds about 3 loads worth). There is no weight limit per service, so don’t be shy! All that we ask is that the drawstring can be pulled tight so that we can ensure your laundry stays safe and secure in transit.
