At Lighter Load, we make laundry easy for busy families and individuals from Arcata to Fortuna and surrounding areas. Whether you need help catching up once, or want fresh laundry delivered regularly, we have a service plan that fits your needs.

We understand that no two households are the same, so we’ve designed our services to be customizable for each member.

• Lighter Load offers a 24 hour turn around service with pick-up options that can be scheduled Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday. Orders are collected after 5pm and delivered the next day before 7pm. A confirmation text will let you know when your laundry has been picked up and delivered.

• Our Services can be scheduled as needed with our Single Service, or on a more consistent schedule with our Get Back Your Time Plan (occurs Once per month), or Family Plan (Occurs twice a month) reoccurring options. With our reoccurring subscriptions, you can choose our standard single bag option which allows you to fill one of our full size laundry bags each service, or you can choose our double bag option which allows you to fill two of our full size bags per service.

• We offer scented detergent options as well as hypoallergenic detergent options, but we take it one step further. Not only do we offer hypoallergenic detergent options, but we have machines designated for hypoallergenic use to prevent cross contamination.

• Lighter Load provides a laundry bag for all of our services. We Offer Full-Size laundry bags for our subscription services and our single service options (Holds about 6 loads worth), and a Half-bag Size option for our single service option (Holds about 3 loads worth). There is no weight limit per service, so don’t be shy! All that we ask is that the drawstring can be pulled closed tight so that we can ensure your laundry stays safe and secure in transit.
